In June 2013, I was also given a chance to teach at Kaplan for their Northumbria University Honours Degree program on Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Communications. Some of the students were previously from Marketing Institute Singapore. Felt great seeing familiar faces in my class. This reinforce why people prefer to buy brands they are familiar with.
This module taught me a very important lesson, which got my marketing communications knowledge to a new level. Thanks to David Hart from Northumbria for his sharing. I now am able to better appreciate consumer buying process and influence purchase decision using IMC tools. Which I am now investing alot of my time making sure I impart this skill to all my Advertising and Marketing students from then on.
Not forgetting the 17 heroes of this module, who made weekends classes not dreadful. I wish to have them for my dissertations, but i am sure we will cross path again in some other ways.
